New Delhi: Pakistan is facing severe floods these days. India's PM Narendra Modi had expressed concern over the loss of humans and resources due to this natural disaster. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday thanked him and said that Pakistan will remove the adverse effects of natural disasters.  

The floods caused by monsoon rains have wreaked havoc across Pakistan, killing more than 1,100 people and displacing 33 million or 7th part of the country's population. Shahbaz Sharif tweeted that, 'I thank Indian PM Narendra Modi for condoling the human and material loss due to floods. With his exceptional resilience, the people of Pakistan, Inshallah, will overcome the adverse effects of this natural disaster and rebuild their lives and communities.'

Let us tell you that PM Modi said on Monday that he was saddened to see the devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan and hoped for an early restoration of normalcy. PM Modi wrote in his tweet that, 'Sad to see the devastation caused by the floods in Pakistan. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, injured and all those affected by this natural calamity and look forward to a speedy restoration of normalcy.'
