Islamabad: Pakistan's Imran Khan government seems to be kind to Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who has raised the voice of separatism in Jammu and Kashmir. A parliament of neighboring country has announced the highest civilian honor of Pakistan to Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Monday. It has been said to give this honor for raising voice for Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is very angry about this.

The Pakistani MP has announced the title of Nishan-e-Pakistan to Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Monday. In which it has been said that he raised his voice against the Indian Army and Governments by staying in Jammu and Kashmir and favored the movement of Jammu and Kashmir. Not only this, Pakistan has also said to establish a university in Islamabad in the name of Gilani. The name of a university being built in Islamabad has now been changed to Syed Ali Shah Geelani University.

Shortly before, Syed Ali Shah Geelani announced his resignation from the Hurriyat Conference. He announced this while issuing an audio message. Syed Ali Shah Geelani said that he has distanced himself from the Hurriyat.
