Islamabad: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will test the fitness of over 200 players living in their homes through video links due to the lockdown. During this time the players will also have to go through a yo-yo test. The PCB has taken this decision in an exercise to keep its contracted players physically fit during the corona virus epidemic.

This online fitness test includes 60 push-ups in one minute, 50 sit-ups in one minute, ten chin-ups in one minute, as well as a level 18 yo-yo test. According to the ESPN Cricinfo report, the fitness test will be done on April 20 and 21. Like other countries around the world due to the Coronavirus, cricket has remained closed in Pakistan since March 15. In such a situation, Pakistan is exercising on the fitness of its players.

Pakistan coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq and team coach Yasir Malik have written a letter to all the players and informed them about the fitness test. The letter said, "Despite all the limitations and limited resources, we have made this new plan for fitness, in which all the players will get equal opportunities."
