New Delhi: On Friday, the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire in the Naushera sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army retaliated to the firing by the Pakistani Army. However, one Army jawan was martyred in the firing. The martyred jawan has been named as Rajib Thapa. He was stationed in Gorkha Rifles.

According to the information received, Pakistani troops started firing and mortar shelling from 8:45 p.m. on Thursday night in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri. Pakistan fired mortars into residential areas. They also opened fire in the same area on Wednesday. The Indian Army immediately responded strongly to Pakistan's move. The Indian Army retaliated and the Pakistani troops stopped firing from their side. At 5 a.m., Pakistani side stopped firing and mortar shelling.

Since the abrogation of Section 370 of the Constitution granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has been in a state of disarray and has been consistently violating the ceasefire, though it has suffered every time before the Indian Army. But he's not coming to terms with his actions. On the other hand, no country in the global community is willing to take Pakistan's stand on the Kashmir issue, which has added to its dismay.
