Srinagar: A ceasefire has been breached by Pakistan on Monday night in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. One civilian was killed and four others were injured in the firing. According to the information received, Pakistan fired indiscriminately on Indian defense posts and villages near the Line of Control (LOC) in Kashmir and fired shells.

The Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to the firing from Pakistan. Pakistan had also opened fire on February 2 in Tangdhar, Gurez, Balakot and Mendhar sectors in violation of the ceasefire. One soldier was injured in this shootout.
