Pakistan is all set for England tour in July and the PCB has agreed to play three Tests and three T20 Internationals in a bio-safe environment. The board approved its English counterparts during a video link meeting. Pakistan Cricket Board chief executive Wasim Khan told a news channel that the PCB has agreed to tour England in July.

"We had a very detailed and extensive discussion with the ECB on Friday regarding the tour and the PCB has agreed to send their cricket team to England in July," Wasim said. During the discussions on Friday via video link, it was agreed that Pakistan would play matches behind closed doors where there is also a hotel inside the grounds. The PCB chief said that 25 players will travel to England in the first week of July in four chartered flights and the series will be played behind closed doors after the players complete the quarter-term.

Wasim said he would brief Test captain Azhar Ali and ODI and T20 captain Babar Azam on the tour next week, stating that all players would be fully informed of England's preparations for the tour. He stressed that the health and safety of the players will be paramount and no player will be forced to go to England. Khan said, "If a player does not want to leave, we will accept his decision and will not take any disciplinary action." Wasim said that the security measures to be adopted for the series included matches played in empty stadiums, traveling to London via chartered flights in Pakistan, testing the players' viruses and quarantining if necessary. "Manchester and Southampton will be potential venues for the Test series and the ECB will announce the third place soon," Khan said.
