Gurdaspur: The Indo-Pak national border at Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur has once again seen drones. BSF soldiers of BOP Metla of 89 Battalion of BSF sector Gurdaspur deployed on the border saw the drones entering India and the soldiers have started firing. After firing, the drone has gone towards Pakistan. As soon as the incident was reported, IG Mahipal Yadav and DIG Rajesh Sharma of BSF rushed to the border and search operation has been launched.

On Friday morning, BSF soldiers stationed at BOP Metla of 89 Battalion of BSF around 6 am saw the drones coming from Pakistan side. BSF soldiers have started firing over it. It is mentioned that for the 7th time the drones have tried to sneak towards India, but BSF soldiers stationed on the border have thrown water on the anti-country forces by firing on drones 5 times. Intelligence agencies have been engaged in action after repeated drone incidents.

Earlier, on Wednesday morning also, a drone from Pakistan side is trying to make an entry into the Indian border. Even after firing by the soldiers of 89 battalion of BSF deployed at BOP Kamalajait, the drone went towards Pakistan. After the information, DIG Rajesh Sharma of BSF, Battalion Commandant Pradeep Kumar and Punjab police officials reached the border area and conducted search operations. However, no suspicious object came to hand during this.
