Salute to Indian Coast Guard saves Pakistani Captain who suffered heart attack

New Delhi: An incident that exemplifies humanity from India has come to light, which has won the hearts of many people in Pakistan too. In fact, a Pakistani civilian driver (Captain) of a vessel suffered a heart attack in the Indian seabed. The Indian Coast Guard immediately reached his alert and protected his life. He is now recovering fully and going back to his home in Pakistan via the Attari-Wagah border.

Giving information about the incident, sources said that Pakistani national and Captain Badar Hasnain of the vessel MV Hayakal had a heart attack on 13 July when his ship was passing through Gopalpur, Odisha. The Indian Coast Guard immediately provided him medical help and got him admitted to a hospital in Visakhapatnam, where he was treated.

As per information provided by the sources, the Captain's daughter has praised the Government of India for humanitarian assistance. Along with this, doctors' efforts to provide immediate emergency services and medical treatment have also been praised. This incident is winning the hearts of many people in view of the traditional animosity between the two countries.
