New Delhi: Due to the growing threat of corona, people have started panic buying in many places, that is, people have started shopping for goods in Afratfari. A similar picture has come from Kargil. Where vegetable has become very expensive. People started buying vegetables up to 200 rupees per kg. Although there is no lockdown in Kargil, people are panic buying.

It is being told that the people of Kargil are in panic due to lockdown or curfew in different parts of the country. This is the reason that as soon as a truck laden with vegetables arrived in Kargil this morning, people surrounded it. Suddenly the demand for the vegetable has increased and its price has increased. People started buying vegetables up to 200 rupees per kg. corona is not the only reason behind panic buying in Kargil. Actually, the Jogila pass connecting Srinagar and Ladakh was closed for four months due to heavy snowfall.

Due to this, the supply of essential goods to the people was not being done correctly. The markets are completely empty. Along with this, the local people are also protesting against the government. There is an atmosphere of chaos due to the lack of essential goods in the market. This is the reason that as soon as a truck reached the vegetable Kargil, there was a long queue of those who bought it. People started buying vegetables by giving 200 rupees per kg. During this time no one followed the corona protocol.
