The trailer of director Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming film Panipat was released recently. While some people praised the trailer on social media, some called it a copy of films like 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Bahubali'. Amidst all this, the film seems to be entangled in controversies. In fact, the famous writer Vishwas Patil of Maharashtra accused the makers of this film for stealing the story and demanded a compensation of seven crores. In this case, they have been booked on Ashutosh Gowariker, producer Rohit Shelatkar and Reliance Entertainment.
Writer Vishwas Patil says that the film's scriptwriter Sanjay Patil met him. He then said that he would also be named as a writer. Also, the film will be inspired by Novel. The dialogues of novel has been taken in the trailer while he had originally allowed it to be used. Vishwas Patil filed a case against him and demanded a compensation of seven crore.
Earlier, Ashutosh Gowariker has also been threatened by different organizations after the film's trailer was released. These organizations have accused the director of manipulating historical characters and events. Also objected to some scenes of the film. After which Ashutosh gave clarification about the film.
According to the media, Ashutosh Gowariker said, "Whenever we make a film based on history, it is natural to raise the question of what part is shown in the film and who is excluded. When you have a history book, you have a lot of information to put, so it is called an account, but when you bring the history to the screen, you have to cut and create a way, From where you start and end the story. '
