New Delhi: Elon Musk has bought the social media platform Twitter. With Elon Musk's eye on Twitter, the differences between the company's CEO and him are making headlines. However, the two have not openly opposed each other so far. At least that didn't happen on a public platform. However, the situation now appears to be changing.

Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal on Monday told the company's employees that the future of the social media platform is uncertain after the deal with Elon Musk. According to media reports, he said this at the company's town hall meeting. The company has informed the employees that Musk will meet Twitter staff shortly for the Question and Answer session. However, its date is not yet known. According to the report, Parag Agarwal was talking about Musk's plans for the company in this meeting. During this time, he has answered questions like laying off employees. Musk, however, has made it clear that he has no plans to fire anyone from the company.

Allen had said before the deal that he was sure Twitter would be a platform for free speech. At the meeting, the employees also questioned Agarwal on the return of former US President Donald Trump, who was banned permanently on Twitter last year. On Trump's question, Agarwal said, "After the deal is closed, we don't know in which direction the platform will go." He said, "I believe we have the opportunity to talk to Alan, this is a question that we should ask him." Agarwal has also made it clear that there is no plan to remove anyone from the company.

Elon Musk has bought Twitter for $44 billion. After the deal, speculations are rife that Twitter's current CEO Parag Agarwal may be discharged from the company. However, if they do so, the company will have to pay them a good amount of money. According to a report by research firm Equilar, Parag Agarwal is expelled from the company before 12 months, he will get around $42 million.
