New Delhi: An under-construction building has been reported to have collapsed in the Satya Niketan area of the national capital. Five workers were feared to be trapped in the debris, after which six fire tenders rushed to the spot immediately. Rescue and relief operations are currently underway. An NDRF team has pulled out a man safely from the debris.

In fact, the collapse of the under-construction building is said to have buried the debris of five workers. As soon as the news of the accident was received, fire tenders also immediately reached the spot. The news of the collapse of an under-construction building in the area created panic. A huge crowd gathered at the spot. The fire brigade and rescue teams were immediately informed about the incident.

After which the rescue operation was launched. Efforts are on to evacuate people buried under the debris. One person has been taken out. SDMC mayor Mukesh Suryan said repair work was going on in a house. The notice was sent by the municipal corporation on March 31 to be in the building danger zone. On April 14, the police and the SDM were also informed in this regard.
