This means that the number of people who subscribe to Paramount+ has increased to about 61 million, which is higher than the 60 million reported last quarter.

The new combined plan with Showtime costs $11. 99 per month and replaced the old ad-free plan from Paramount+ that cost $9. 99 At the same time, Paramount increased the price of its Essential ad-supported plan from $4. 99 to $599 The company said that more people are watching Paramount+ and Pluto TV, and the amount of time they spend watching has gone up by 35% worldwide.

Paramount Global made $1. 67 billion from its service for people who purchase directly from the company. Most of this money, $1. 23 billion, came from streaming. They also earned over $400 million from advertising.

The boss of the company, Bob Bakish, spoke about how Paramount is planning to expand globally. He mentioned that they recently launched Pluto TV in Australia, which now has 50 FAST channels.
