Badminton star Saina Nehwal's biopic 'Saina' is going to be released soon. Shraddha Kapoor was earlier to be seen in this film but Parineeti replaced her. Now Parineeti Chopra has given her statement on replacing Shraddha. Talking about her film, she said, "When she was approached for this film, she did not take any kind of pressure." Not only this, Parineeti said that Shraddha Kapoor's leaving the film did not mean anything to her. Parineeti told that she was more excited to work with director Amol Gupte in this film.
During an interview, Parineeti Chopra said, 'The only concern in my mind was that I wanted to impress Amol Gupte with my work. For the rest, I did not have any kind of pressure.' With this, she further said, 'The pressure was just me in this process, my coaches were watching how much I was learning, my director's focus was on how I would look on the screen.' Further talking about Saina Nehwal, Parineeti said, 'Saina supported me throughout the film. Saina gave us full access to her life. I used to call her, talk on video calls and she would answer all my questions. In this way, my pressure was managed. I was already under the pressure of learning badminton, there was nothing else. It was very difficult for me to play Saina's role.'
Shraddha Kapoor was chosen for this film before Parineeti, but due to a busy schedule, she left the film.
