Actor Parineeti Chopra has commenced shooting for her upcoming film titled ‘Kesari’ in which she stars alongside Akshay Kumar. Parineeti informed this on her instagram story taken from an aircraft clicked by co-star Akshay Kumar. She wrote “Off for Kesari.”

The film’s shooting started in Wai on Wednesday. Wai is located in the Satara district of Maharashtra. Parineeti also shared a video from Wai capturing the beautiful landscape.

“Sigh. The beauty of Wai. Kesari,” she captioned the video.

The film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Anurag Singh. The film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi.

Lead actor Akshay Kumar also shared a picture on Twitter recently featuring him along with some kids who play the role of Afghani kids. He is seen in a huge turban in the picture. It revealed the look of Akshay’s character in the film while Parineeti’s first look from the film has not come out yet.

“Innocent smiles galore on set today. Shooting with these lovely children playing Afghani kids in #Kesari based on the Battle Of Saragarhi, one of the bravest battles fought in India,” Kumar wrote in the caption.

Parineeti Chopra, who was last seen in “Golmaal Again” will also star in upcoming film Namastey England.
