In such a situation, the government may increase the target of agricultural credit (Agri Credit Target) to Rs 18 lakh crore in the upcoming Budget 2022-23 to encourage people in the agriculture sector.

In fact, the target of agricultural credit for the current financial year has been set at Rs 16.5 lakh crore. The government is raising the target of agricultural credit every year.
