a day Before Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde has implicated that Constitution which restricted the word "secular" would be amended.

With the bundle of annoyances in opposition to the "seculars" at a public function in Koppal district on Sunday, Union Minister of State for Employment and Skill Development asserted that Seculars do not know what their blood is. He said that constitution has given that right to say 'we are secular and we will say it'. He lauded “Yes, I know but the constitution has been amended many times, we will also amend it. We have come to power for that."

On religion and cast Hegde spoke as ANI quoted"If you say you are a Muslim, Christian etc., I feel proud that you have the connection with your religion and caste, but who are these so-called seculars? Seculars don't have any parentage," Hegde mentioned it before in his address.

This is not the first time that Hegde has made a divisive comment. Last year, he was booked for allegedly making offensive remarks in opposition to Islam.

In November, he said no to partake in the annual Tipu Jayanti celebration in Karnataka, as BJP, unlike Congress, observes the Mysore sovereign as an oppressor monarch and considers him of being unfair against Hindus.
