Harmohan Dhawan, elected as the Chandigarh MP in 1989, served as the civil aviation minister in the Chandra Shekhar government. Throughout his political career, Dhawan was associated with various political parties, including the Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP), Congress, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
