Patna: Jan Shatabdi Express and a car collided near Patna's Punpun in Bihar this morning. 3 people lost their lives in this accident. The accident occurred at a railway crossing in Punpun, Patna. A car got crowded between crossing the illegal railway crossing in Pothhi of Jan Shatabdi Express Punpun. 3 people died in the accident. Three of those killed have been identified. The deceased include husband-wife-son. In view of the seriously injured in the accident, the number of dead is estimated to increase but top officials including DRM are also present at the scene. 4 seriously injured people have been sent to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for treatment.

The investigation has revealed that this morning, a car got stuck on the track while crossing an illegal railway crossing near Punpun. Meanwhile, Jan Shatabdi Express going from Patna to Ranchi arrived and the two collided. After the collision, the vehicle was completely destroyed and the father-son and mother on board died on the spot. The condition of the car can be gauged by how strong the collision was.

It is also being said that people often have to cross the road in such a way to cross the railway gate. It is necessary that the employees sitting on the signal should check that there is no problem before greening the signal. But the incident confirms that due to the negligence of the responsible employee, an entire family died. People present on the spot have told that due to whose inadvertence, the incident is being investigated. The guilty person is going to be punished properly.
