Let us tell you that a petrol bomb was thrown at Shopian's residence in Shopian today on the ruling PDP legislator Mohammad Yusuf Bhatt. According to the police, Bhatt was not in his house at the time of the incident. The security personnel stationed there immediately informed it to the Fire Department. Which immediately took over the control of the fire. Regarding this incident, MLA Bhatt also said that the Naughty Elements today threw a petrol bomb at my house in Shopian. Police officials are searching for the individuals who have thrown the bombs.

It is notable that the PDP legislator Mohammed Yusuf Bhatt was attacked earlier too. In October 2016, a hand grenade was thrown at the militants targeting Bhatt's residence. After which a police station was set up inside his house in August 2016, was set on fire by the crowd.
