The campaign to collect funds for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has come to an end on Saturday. It is being said that in this campaign that started in January, donations of nearly Rs 2,100 crores have been deposited. The counting work is still going on. Apart from this, the work of depositing money in the temple account is still going on. In this case, this amount can be increased even further. These donations have come from both the country and abroad. During this time the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has demanded from the people that if anyone still wants to donate then they can be contacted by the local team or office.
It has been learned that the Ram Mandir Nidhi dedication campaign was started on January 15, the day of Makar Sankranti. Meanwhile, the teams visited around 5 lakh villages to collect funds. Voluntary contributions received by the volunteers were deposited in the local branches of SBI / PNB / BOB accounts of Shri Ram Teerth Kshetra Trust. This trust has the responsibility of constructing the temple.
Total amount of funds raised: According to the information received, Prakash Gupta, in charge of the trust office in Ayodhya said that at present he has only an estimated amount, which is about 2,100 crores. Continuing his talk, he has said that 'the entire process of counting and auditing may take a month's time. A lot of cheques are in banks and for three days from Friday, banks had a holiday. Therefore, a lot of checks remain to be cleared. We will also have to withdraw the remaining coupons with the volunteers and that too will be counted.'
Construction work has started: It is learned that the work of filling the foundation of the Ram temple will start in the next 15 days. Right now the excavation work for the foundation of the temple is going on fast. Under which, after the demolition of the temples within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, huge JCB machines are leveling the ground.
