Tokyo: Strong tremors have been felt in Japan. Its intensity on the Richter scale has been assessed as 5.2. This has been reported by the European-Mediterranean Earthquake Centre (EMSC). The epicenter of the earthquake was the southern part of Ibaraki province east of the capital Tokyo, public broadcaster NHK has said. Eyewitnesses have also seen an earthquake-shaking building in Tokyo, but no damage has been reported so far.
