New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices continued to remain stable for the third consecutive day. Yes, oil marketing companies have not changed the prices of petrol and diesel in any way even today i.e. Let me tell you all that petrol has become cheaper by 35 paise diesel by 95 paise in the month of August so far. Petrol prices remained stable for 35 days from 17th July 2021 till 21st August. Similarly, if we talk about July, the price of petrol was hiked by Rs 3.03 in that month. At the same time, diesel prices had gone up by 69 paise per litre.

You can see that according to the Indian Oil website, petrol is being sold at Rs 101.49, Rs 107.52, Rs 101.82 per litre in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata Chennai today i.e. Friday (August 27, 2021). At the same time, customers in all four metros have to pay Rs 88.92, Rs 96.48, Rs 91.98 per litre for diesel respectively. Indian Oil Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum revises the rates of petrol diesel at 6 am every day and the price of oil doubles after adding excise duty, dealer's commission to petrol diesel prices.
