In Kolkata, petrol is available today at Rs 74.54 per liter and diesel is available at Rs 67.49 per litre. In Bollywood city Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 77.50 and diesel is available at Rs 68.26 per litre.

For private-sector, this was the worst year in a decade

In Chennai, petrol prices are being sold at Rs 74.62 per litre and diesel at Rs 68.79 a litre. Prices remained stable in Noida and Gurugram, adjoining Delhi. In Noida, petrol is being sold at an earlier price and Delhi at Rs 73.79 a litre. Diesel is also being sold at Rs 65.40 litre from Delhi and its old price. In Gurugram, petrol is sold at Rs 71.99 per litre and diesel at Rs 64.53 per litre.
