New Delhi: There is no change in the price of diesel and petrol by the Government Oil Factory today. There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata. However, on July 30, the Delhi government had cut the price of diesel by Rs 8.36. Due to which the price of diesel in Delhi was Rs 73.56 per liter in the market.
Know the price is so high in the major metros: Today the petrol price in Delhi has been reduced to Rs 80.43 per liter. The price of diesel has been raised to Rs 73.56 per liter. According to information from the IOCL website, the price of one liter of petrol in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai has been reduced to Rs 82.05, 87.19, and 83.63 per liter respectively. On the other hand, talking about diesel, its price in these big cities is 77.06, 80.11 and 78.86 respectively.
Price changes at 6 o'clock every day: The prices of petrol and diesel are changed at 6 o'clock every day. New rates are released from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its value is increased by about 2 times. The price of petrol and diesel is changed every day depending on what the value of crude is in the international market with foreign exchange rates.
