New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices continued to rise for the 14th consecutive day on Saturday. Petrol in the national capital Delhi has become expensive by 51 paise while diesel by 61 paise per liter. With this increase, the price of petrol has increased to Rs 78.88 per liter in Delhi, while diesel is being sold at Rs 77.67 per liter.

Petrol in Delhi has become expensive by Rs 7.62 per liter after 14 consecutive days of increase, while the price of diesel has increased by more than Rs 8 per liter. Oil marketing companies on Friday increased the prices of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai by 56 paise, 54 paise, 55 paise, 50 paise per liter respectively. Diesel prices were increased by 63 paise, 57 paise, 60 paisa and 54 paisa per liter in the four metros respectively. Let us know that petrol and diesel prices are revised at six o'clock in the morning. The new rates become effective from 6 in the morning.

On the international futures market Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) on Friday, August delivery Brent crude futures contract was trading 0.70 per cent higher at $ 41.80 per barrel, compared to the previous session, while Brent price was up to $ 42.01 per barrel.
