Petrol prices have not changed for the 34th day today on behalf of state-owned oil companies while diesel prices have become cheaper. Petrol prices remained stable for the consecutive days after July 17 in the last month, while diesel prices have come down by 18 paise to 20 paise. Today, petrol is priced at Rs 101.84 per litre while diesel is priced at Rs 89.27 per litre in Delhi. In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs 107.83 and diesel at Rs 96.84 per litre. Petrol is priced at Rs 102.08 a litre while diesel is priced at Rs 92.32 a litre in Kolkata. In Chennai also, petrol is beyond 100, with petrol at Rs 102.49 a litre while diesel at Rs 93.84 a litre.

Petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. 100 per litre in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru in metropolitan cities.
