Oil companies have reined in the change in petrol and diesel prices for the 12th consecutive day. Petrol is being sold at Rs 101.84 per litre in the national capital on Thursday, as petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged at Rs 89.87 per litre.

The petrol price in Mumbai is Rs 107.83 per litre. Diesel prices in the city are also Rs 97.45, the highest among metropolitan cities. Petrol prices in all metros have now crossed Rs 100 per litre. The same fuel prices increased by 41 days and after rising for 47 days from 4th May, there is a ban on the increase in prices for 12 days. Petrol prices in Delhi have increased by Rs 11.44 per litre since May 4. Diesel has increased by Rs 9.14 per litre.

Petrol price in these states beyond Rs 100:-
Petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. 100 per litre in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru in metropolitan cities.

You can also know the price of petrol and diesel through SMS. According to the Indian Oil portal, you have to write down the code of RSP and your city and send it to the 9224992249 number. Each city has different codes, which you will receive from IOCL's portal.
