New Delhi: International oil prices are at a record high. Crude oil has reached $80 a barrel for the first time in 3 years. The impact is also visible on the Indian market. State-owned oil companies yesterday (Tuesday) meant that petrol prices were hiked by 20 paise a litre and diesel by 25 paise a litre on September 28. After which the price of petrol in Delhi has increased from Rs 101.19 to Rs 101.39 per litre and in Mumbai to Rs 107.47 per litre.

However, petrol-diesel prices are stable in the Indian market today (Wednesday). State-owned oil companies have not changed the prices of petrol and diesel on September 29. Petrol is being sold at the Indian Oil pump at Rs 101.39 per litre and diesel at Rs 89.57 per litre in the national capital today (Wednesday). According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest fuel retailer, petrol and diesel are the most expensive in Mumbai if compared to the four metros of the country.
