There has been no increase in the prices of petrol and diesel from government oil companies today. However, the rate of petrol was increased by four to five paise last day. In the last fifteen days, the price of petrol has been increased by a few money almost daily. Due to this, it has become expensive by Rs 1.65. While fifteen days ago, petrol was running at Rs 80.43 per litre. However, in the last fifteen days, the price of diesel is the same as before. Earlier, on 30 July, the Delhi Government had cut the rate of diesel by Rs 8.36, due to which the rate of diesel in Delhi was reduced to Rs 73.56 per litre in the market.
 
According to information received from IOCL, today the price of one-litre petrol and diesel in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai is like this. Diesel 73.56 in Delhi Rs, Petrol Rs 82.08, Diesel in Kolkata Rs 77.06, Petrol Rs 83.57, Diesel in Mumbai Rs 80.11, Petrol Rs 88.73, Chennai In diesel, Rs 78.86, petrol is 85.04 rupees.
 
There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its rate almost doubles. Petrol and diesel prices change every day, depending on what the prices of crude are in the international market along with foreign exchange rates. On the basis of these standards, the oil companies do the work of fixing the petrol price and diesel price daily.
