New Delhi: Petrol-diesel prices in the domestic market have remained stable due to the ongoing softening of crude oil prices in the international market. There was no change in the price of petrol for the last five days. At the same time, diesel is stable at the last level for four days. In the national capital, on Tuesday morning, petrol remained at the old level of Rs 72.01 and diesel at the level of 65.25 rupees.

Earlier on August 29, a petrol reduction of 6 paise per liter was recorded. According to the website of Indian Oil, today consumers in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai are paying Rs 72.01, Rs 77.67, Rs 74.71 and Rs 74.80 per liter respectively for petrol. The price is running at Rs 65.25 per liter.

In Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, consumers have to pay Rs 68.41, Rs 67.63 and Rs 68.94 per liter for petrol respectively. Experts hope that in the coming days, the price of petrol and diesel may be further cut. Internationally, WTI crude is trading at $ 54.92 per barrel and Brent crude at $ 58.73 per barrel.
