New Delhi: Petrol prices have been recorded for the second consecutive day on Friday. Oil marketing companies have cut the price of petrol by 6 paisa per litre in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. While there has been no change in the price of diesel in the four major metros. According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have come down to Rs 74.89, Rs 77.55, Rs 80.54 and Rs 77.86 per litre respectively.

However, diesel prices remain stable. Diesel prices in the four metros are stagnant at Rs 66.04, Rs 68.45, Rs 69.27 and Rs 69.81 per litre respectively. At the same time, petrol in Noida adjoining Delhi is being sold at Rs 76.20 and diesel at Rs 66.35 per litre, while in Gurugram the price of petrol is Rs 74.41 and diesel is Rs 65.35 per litre.
