New Delhi: Oil marketing companies have given relief to petrol and diesel prices for the second consecutive day today. Two days ago, there was no change in prices on Sundays. While, on Saturday, both petrol and diesel prices had decreased. The price of crude oil in the international market has been sluggish. The impact is also visible in the domestic market. Today, the price of petrol has been cut by 17 paise and diesel by 22-24 paise.
Petrol price declined by 17 paise to Rs 81.55 per litre and diesel by 22 paise to Rs 72.56 per litre in Delhi on September 15. In Mumbai, petrol is also 17 paise cheaper at Rs 88.21 per litre, while diesel prices have come down by 24 paise to Rs 79.05 per litre. In Kolkata, petrol prices have come down by 17 paise to Rs 83.06 per litre and diesel by 22 paise to Rs 76.06 per litre today.
Similarly, the price of petrol and diesel has been cut in Chennai also. The price of petrol has come down by 15 paise. The new petrol price has come down by Rs 84.57 per litre and diesel by 14 paise to Rs 77.91 per litre. In Bengaluru also, petrol-diesel prices have declined. Petrol prices have come down by 18 paise to Rs 84.20 per litre and diesel by 24 paise to Rs 76.82 per litre.
