New Delhi: Continued increase in petrol prices in the country continues due to the rise in crude oil prices in the global market, although the price of diesel remains stable. Oil marketing companies increased petrol prices by 11 to 13 paise per liter on Sunday for the fourth consecutive day but did not change the price of diesel for the fifth consecutive day.

Crude oil prices rose nearly two percent in the previous session, while in November this month, the benchmark crude oil Brent crude prices have risen by more than three dollars per barrel, due to the inflation of petrol and diesel in the coming days. There is little scope for relief. On Sunday, petrol has become costlier by 12 paise in Delhi, 11 paise in Kolkata and Mumbai and 13 paise per liter in Chennai.
