New Delhi: On 1 February, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the general budget and the next day there has been relief news for the general public. For the fourth consecutive day on Sunday, oil companies have reduced the prices of petrol and diesel in the country. Today customers will have to pay less money for one liter petrol-diesel than on Saturday.

In Delhi, the price of one-liter petrol has been cut by nine paise. The price of one liter of petrol in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai has come down by 8 paise. After this, petrol prices in these states have been increased to Rs 73.10, 75.77, 78.75 and 75.95 per liter respectively. Talking about diesel, a liter of diesel has become cheaper by 8 paise in Delhi, 5 paise in Kolkata, 6 paise in Mumbai and 7 paise in Chennai, after which its prices are 66.14, 68.54, 69.36 and 69.89 per liter respectively.

The price of petrol and diesel changes at 6 in the morning every day. The new rates of petrol and diesel are applicable from 6 o'clock in the morning. In the price of petrol and diesel, excise duty, dealer commission, and other things add almost double its price.
