New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices have once again gone up. Fuel prices have now reached their highest level across the country. Petrol price has gone up by 26 paise and diesel by 7 paise per litre today. After this hike, petrol is being sold at Rs 97.76 per litre and diesel at Rs 88.30 per litre in Delhi today. Brent crude has also crossed 75 dollars a barrel.
In some cities like Sriganganagar, Anuppur, Rewa, the price of petrol has come very close to Rs 110 a litre. After Bengaluru, Patna, the capital of Bihar, and Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, are on the verge of joining the list of capitals of states where petrol has crossed Rs 100 per litre. Petrol is being sold at Rs 103.89 and diesel at Rs 88.30 per litre in Mumbai today.
In Kolkata, petrol is at Rs 97.63 and diesel at Rs 91.15 per litre today. Petrol is selling at Rs 98.88 and diesel at Rs 92.89 per litre in Chennai today. In Sriganganagar, petrol is at Rs 108.94 and diesel at Rs 101.48 per litre today. Petrol is Rs 99.80 and diesel is Rs 93.63 per litre in Bihar's capital Patna. Petrol at Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh today is Rs 108.56 and diesel at Rs 99.39 per litre.
