This record increase in diesel prices has come at a time when crude oil prices have come down in the international market. Apart from diesel, petrol prices have also increased. On Thursday, the price of diesel increased for the 19th consecutive day. Diesel became expensive by 14 paise in the national capital, while the price of petrol has increased by 16 paise. In the last 19 days, the price of diesel has increased by Rs 10.62 per liter. At the same time, if you talk about petrol, it has become more expensive than about 8.50 rupees. On June 25, today, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 79.92. At the same time, the price of diesel has increased from Rs 79.88 to Rs 80.02 per liter. For the first time in Indian history, diesel has crossed the Rs 80 price tag.

Like Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs 86.70 in Mumbai, while diesel costs Rs 78.34. If you talk about Chennai, petrol is priced at Rs 83.18 and diesel at Rs 77.29. At the same time, Kolkata has petrol at a price of Rs 81.61 and diesel at a price of Rs 75.18. Earlier, on Wednesday, the price of petrol was braked, but the increase in diesel price continued. Diesel became 12 paise per liter more expensive than petrol in Delhi, the country's capital. For the first time in Indian history, diesel prices exceeded petrol.
