Jaipur: After 2 months of no change, petrol and diesel have started raising since last 8 days. Today, petrol has become costlier by 25 paise and diesel by 30 paise per litre. Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise during the winter and the crisis of Corona epidemic, due to which the public has been in trouble.

On the one hand, the process of increasing prices is going on in the last 8 days, on the other hand, the state government has also increased VAT on petrol and diesel twice in the lockdown period. Amidst the Corona crisis, despite the fall in the prices of crude oil in the international market, the trend of petrol and diesel prices in the country and the state continues. The way the prices of petrol and diesel are increasing in the last 8 days, it seems that the central government's control over the oil companies has completely ended.

Oil companies have started the process of increasing prices from the last 8 days to increase their margins even after the prices of crude oil in the international market have come down. On November 20, petrol and diesel prices started increasing, which continues till today. During this period, in the last 8 days, petrol has become costlier by Rs. 1 paise per litre, while diesel prices have also increased by Rs. 1.88. Petrol prices have reached a level of Rs 89.41. The price of diesel is also being sold at Rs 81.15 per litre.
