New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices have come down due to fall in the price of crude oil. In the last few days, the price of crude oil has fallen from the level of $ 70 per barrel to the level of $ 50 per barrel. The decline in the prices of petrol and diesel in India is being recorded since January 12. During this time, petrol and diesel have become cheaper by about three rupees per liter.

Petrol price in New Delhi was Rs 76.01 per liter on 11 January and diesel was priced at Rs 69.17 per liter. Petrol prices have come down by Rs 2.97 per liter since January 11. At the same time, a reduction of Rs 3.08 per liter has been registered in diesel. Crude oil prices are falling due to Corona virus. This is because China's total oil consumption alone has declined by nearly 20 percent.

On Monday, the price of one liter petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 73.04. It has been priced at Rs 75.71 per liter in Kolkata, 78.69 in Mumbai and Rs 75.89 per liter in Chennai. On the other hand, if you talk about diesel, then the price of one liter diesel in Delhi is Rs 66.09. It has been priced at Rs 68.46 per liter in Kolkata, 69.27 in Mumbai and Rs 69.81 per liter in Chennai.
