The PGA Tour Series-China golf season has been cancelled due to Coronavirus pandemic. Greg Carlson, the official director of the China-based tour, has said that it is not practical to place a qualifying tournament elsewhere in Asia and that it is also difficult to organize the tournament in 2020 due to restrictions in China.

In this statement, Carlson said that it is disappointing but I know that our players and fans will understand this. As the corona infection epidemic caused havoc not only in China but all over the world.

At present, touring with players from 5 different continents is not practical in China. The tour is owned by PGA Tour and has been managing it since 2014 with the China Golf Association.
