Danielle Collins of the United States has been eliminated from the ongoing World Team Tennis Tournament in North America due to breaking the Corona Transition Rules. The audience has also been given permission to come to the stadium in this tournament and this tournament has been held at the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia. Collins was previously in the news last month for criticizing Novak Djokovic.

WT Chief Executive Officer Carlos Silva said, "We exclude Collins from the rest of the 2020 Team Tennis Tournament due to breaking the Corona Transition Rule and leaving Greenbrier Resort. The rules and safety of our players, coaches, and staff have been communicated to protect, which are extremely important for the WT." Djokovic said that the arrangement of the US Open Grand Slam between the Corona Transition Rule is impossible.

The American legend woman tennis player Venus Williams will participate in the new hardcourt tournament in Kentucky next month. Venus Williams' younger sister Serena Williams is also participating in this tournament and she is going to return to the court from this tournament. This is going to be the first tournament of the twenty-third Bar Grand Slam champion Serena after playing for the US in the Fed Cup in February. The organizers announced it on Tuesday. The match in Kentucky is known as Top Seed Open. Apart from Serena, 2017 US Open champion Sloan Stephens will also participate in the tournament starting from August 10.
