New Delhi: Natasha, a member of the Pinjra Tod group, has now been arrested under the UAPA in connection with the violence in Delhi against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Delhi Police Special Cell has made this arrest. In the month of February this year, violence against CAA broke out in Delhi. After this, Natasha and Devangana, members of the group, were arrested in this case.

Now the Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested Natasha under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act i.e. UAPA. Natasha is accused of plotting violence in Zafarabad. Devangana, another member of Pinjar Tod, has been arrested by the Crime Branch in connection with the violence during anti-CAA demonstration in Daryangj, Delhi. Both are currently being questioned. In the month of February, there was a sudden mob of women against the CAA at the Zafarabad Metro station, after which violence erupted.

An FIR is also registered in this case. The wires of these two girls are said to be connected to the Delhi violence. At present, both are being arrested and questioned. UAPA is a very strict law. This law is designed to prevent activities and terrorism that threatens the integrity and sovereignty of the country. If found guilty under this law, a person can be sentenced to a minimum of seven years in prison.
