NEW DELHI: In the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League, the Telugu Titans defeated the Haryana Steelers. The Telugu Titans won the match with a brilliant performance by Siddharth Desai. The Titans defeated Haryana 40-29 in the match played in Chennai. Siddharth Desai scored a total of 18 points, including the Super 10, which the Titans broke the winning order in three consecutive matches in Haryana. Siddharth, along with his brother Suraj, put Haryana under pressure at the beginning of the match.
Suraj scored six points. Before the match, the Titans could win in just one of the eight matches, but desai brothers were once again able to put the team on the winning path. For Haryana, the ongoing development in rhythm missed kandola Super 10's hat-trick. His nine points have not been enough for the team. This is Haryana's fourth defeat in eight games and the team is sixth in the table with 21 points.
The Titans are ninth with 18 points in nine games. In another match, hosts Tamil Thalaiwaj clashed with Puneri Paltan on a tie. Both the teams were tied 31-31. Pune has played a match tie for the first time this season. After this result, Pune's team are at the bottom of the points table. Tamil Thalaivaz, on the other hand, is occupying the 5th position. It was his second match which was a tie.
