U Mumba defeated three-time champion Patna Pirates in the last minute of the match against Rohit Ballian. U Mumba won the match 34-30. Both the former champions have suffered more defeats than to win their previous matches but U Mumba had the advantage of a brilliant strategy and managed to beat Patna. Ballian was the high scorer of the match. He scored nine points from the Raids.
