NEW DELHI: The UP Yoddha have defeated the Bengaluru Bulls in a thrilling Pro Kabaddi League match. However, the victory was very close. The 39th match of the league was played at the Ika Arena in Ahmedabad. In the first half, when Bengaluru showed its strength, the UP team did not allow Bengaluru to run in the second half. The four-minute game was that Bengaluru took a 6-1 lead. Monu Goyat knocked out Rohit Kumar by two points and then hit the successful Reds and scored a total of five points in UP's account.

Bengaluru somehow maintained their lead till the 15th minute but UP's defence leveled the score at 13-13 in the 16th minute. The first half ended with a score of 15-15. Bengaluru took a 17-16 lead at the start of the second half. UP's Raider Mohsen put UP ahead 19-18 in the 26th minute. From here, UP extended its lead and went ahead 27-21.

In the end, Bengaluru narrowed the points gap but could not stop the defeat. For UP, Srikanth Jadhav scored nine and Goyat got eight points. Pawan Saharawat scored the highest 15 points for Bengaluru. In addition to them, no other Bengaluru player could reach double figures.
