Afghanistan cricket board president Hamid Shinwari said all the "players and their families are good" amid the crisis in Afghanistan, which has been taken over by the Taliban. Shinwari said none of the players have made an appeal to leave Afghanistan and that their cricketing schedule remains unchanged despite the prevailing situation in their country.
"There is no dispute as far as cricket is concerned, everything is fine. Players and families are good. "We are good to go with t 20 World Cup and IPL also. There are no issues at all he said. We are preparing for series with Pakistan also, we have to play ODIs with them. "As of now we haven't officially communicated with BCCI but if required will do, they have always supported the US we have a good relationship with BCCI. Cricket is a gentleman game we are committed to delivering our best...we will play."As of now no request from players to evacuate families they are good and safe," Shinwari said in a statement on Monday.
