Prayagraj: A petition has been filed in the Allahabad High Court seeking a ban on the proposed Bhoomi Pujan on August 5 for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. In the High Court, a journalist from Delhi has filed a petition to stop the Bhoomi Pujan. In the petition, Ram temple Bhoomi Pujan has been said to be a violation of the guidelines of Unlock 2.

Delhi journalist Saket Gokhale has filed this petition to the Chief Justice of the High Court through letter PIL. Bhoomi Pujan under PIL filed by Gokhale is a violation of the unlock-2 guideline of the corona epidemic. The petition states that during Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya, three hundred people will gather, which will be against the rules of Corona epidemic. Through letter petition, he has demanded a ban on the Bhoomi Poojan program of Ram temple.

It is also said in the PIL that this program will increase the possibility of spreading corona infection. Not only this, but it has also been further stated in the petition that the UP government cannot give relaxation in the guidelines of the Center. If the letter petition is approved, the Bench nominated by the Chief Justice will hear the matter. In the petition, along with the Ram temple trust, the Modi government has also been mentioned.
