New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharampur in the Valsad district of Gujarat today, August 4, via video conferencing.
The Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Hospital's foundation stone was also laid by the prime minister. Shrimad Rajchandra animal hospital will be a 150-bed hospital built at a total cost of nearly Rs.70 crore. It will be equipped with top-class facilities and a dedicated team of veterinarians and allied staff. It will also provide holistic medical care alongside conventional medicine for the care and upkeep of animals. The Hospital will offer conventional and holistic medical services for the care and maintenance of animals.
It is expected that Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital a 250-bed multi-specialty with advanced medical infrastructure will provide world-class tertiary medical facilities, especially to the people of the southern Gujarat region.
On this occasion, PM Modi also laid the foundation for the Shrimad Rajchandra Center of Excellence for Women. It will be constructed for about Rs 40 crore. It will include rest places, recreational amenities, and classrooms for self-development classes. It will employ over 700 tribal women and provide a livelihood to thousands of people.
