Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the World Health Organization's (WHO) Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar on Tuesday.

In the presence of Mauritius' Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus, he laid the foundation stone (WHO).

The Global Centre for Traditional Medicine (GCTM) will be the world's first and only international outpost for traditional medicine. It will become a global wellness destination on a global scale.

PM Modi is in Gujarat on a three-day visit. Earlier in the day, he dedicated to the nation a new dairy complex and potato processing facility built at a cost of over Rs. 600 crores in Diyodar, Banaskantha district.

The Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit will take place in Gandhinagar from April 20 to 22. The goal of the Summit is to increase investment and highlight breakthroughs in traditional medicine. It's a one-of-a-kind effort to build long-term relationships, increase exports, and maintain a healthy ecology.
