New Delhi: On the completion of 75 years of independence, the Central Government has announced to celebrate the Independence Amrit Festival. In this festival, the younger generation will be informed about the freedom struggle going on between 1857 and 1947 and a journey will be taken out for it. According to the information received, PM Modi is going to start it by flagging the Dandi March on March 12. The Amrit Mahotsav of Independence will be celebrated to tell the youth the dream of freedom struggle, development of the country, and World Guru India.

During this time PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of five World Memorial and Development work in the premises around the Ashram. On the other hand, PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Vijay Rupani are also going to march on foot after leaving the Dandi March. Meanwhile, the Special Protection Group (SPG) has taken over the security of the ashram. At the same time, the security agencies of the state have also become cautious about security here. The ashram has been closed to the common people till March 12. Let us tell you that the area around Gandhi Ashram, Dandi Pul Sammel has been decorated for Amrit Mahotsav.

Mahatma Gandhi had Dandi with Sabyagrahis on 12 March 1930 from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. During that time, he took out the Dandi March to protest against the salt law of the British. On 6 April 1930, Gandhiji broke the British law by making salt. All were arrested thereafter. In such a situation, tomorrow i.e. on 12 March, Gujarat Congress will take a foot march from Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad to Kochrab Ashram. It is being said that along with this Congress will also start Kisan Satyagraha with 80 tractors.
